From Petri Dishes to Plug Trays, vacuum seeders are a great way to save time and maximize productivity.  With hundreds of patterns on hand, chances are that we have a design to fit your needs.  If we do not, a quick CAD drawing (one time fee) e-mailed to you with your dimensions and layout provides a fail safe way to assure you are receiving the planting head that you need.

Vacuum Counting and Planting heads are available in acrylic or brass (limited sizes in brass).  The counting/planting head is used in conjunction with vacuum pumps or available vacuum sources to count and plant seeds ranging in size from Blue Grass to Soy Beans.  Seeds are simply placed on the surface of the counting/planting head, shaken around (so that one seed adheres to each hole) then by tilting the counting/planting head the excess seeds are poured off.  At this point the seeds may be placed on paper or into a container, the vacuum released, and the seeds fall into place.

Vacuum counting heads are custom made and should be designed to fit your planting medium, the number of seeds to be placed, the physical dimension and the proper hole size to fit the commodity.

When ordering  specify outside dimension, hole size, (0000-10) or type of seed, and number of seeds to be counted, 25, 50 or 100.
