The SG30SS Diurnal chamber with digitally controlled temperature and lighting, day/night cycles simulates the environment seeds and plants need for precise testing models. This unit features digital timer controlled temperature (hi/low) and lighting (on/off) suitable for studying seed germination and growth in nearly any plant species.
This chamber has a temperature range of 2-40°C, ± 1/2°C at the sensor, and fail safes to protect the chamber in the unlikely event of an over/under temperature. Quality workmanship and stainless construction will provide years of trouble free operation for germination, plant growth, soil testing or any application where a controlled environment is required.
A full-length perforated air grill allows for even air circulation and uniform temperature throughout the chamber. Stainless construction makes this model attractive and easy to maintain. The doors are equipped with magnetic gasket seals, chrome plated hardware and built-in locks, which are keyed alike.
Stainless steel shelving slides are standard and are one of the many features that separate this chamber from competitors. Shelves slide out easily, making product changes quick and simple. The unit has a capacity for 17 shelves and comes with 10.
A digital fully automatic control system is mounted on the control panel for temperature and lighting. Humidity (optional) is provided with an ultra-sonic fogging system and controlled with a digital controller and humidistat. These units offer the most usable space for your dollar.
All controls are mounted in an easy to reach control cabinet located on the top of the chamber. The condensing unit is mounted behind the control cabinet for easy access and service/maintenance.
