The Westrup LA-K Gravity Separator is an important piece of equipment in the laboratory and is the last link in a series of cleaning and grading equipment for grains. When grains have been separated with regard to their width, length, and thickness, this machine can exploit possible differences in specific weight for further grading. The difference in specific weight can originate from attacks by insects or sponges, little or no germination, or if different kinds of seed with the same geometrical dimensions are involved.
